We are thrilled to open our 10th season with the internationally renowned Avalon String Quartet! Avalon will perform Borodin’s stunningly lyrical String Quartet No. 2, which is best known for its shamelessly romantic Nocturne. Also on the program is Shostakovich’s String Quartet no. 9 in E flat major, a deeply personal work that is filled with vibrant energy.

The Packard Room at Ballydoyle Irish Pub in downtown Aurora is the perfect intimate setting, with a small stage, a cash bar, and great accessibility with its street-level access. The Ballydoyle also offers appetizers, burgers, salads, entrees, and Irish specialties for those who are looking to have a meal before or after the concert.
The Ashbury in Elgin
The Ashbury in downtown Elgin is a favorite location of Chamber Music on the Fox, this location is accessible, intimate, and features a cash bar.
