The ECC Arts Center is partnering again with Chamber Music on the Fox to present Third Coast Percussion, Chicago’s Grammy Award-winning percussion quartet and Grammy-nominated composer collective. An evening with Third Coast Percussion reveals a new world of musical possibilities. The program celebrates 20 years of genre-defying, award-winning music including many of the ensemble’s 20th Anniversary commissions, a new piece by renowned composer Jessie Montgomery, a work by J.S. Bach re-imagined by electronic music innovator- and recent Pulitzer Prize finalist – Jlin, and “Sonata for Percussion” by acclaimed jazz pianist Tigran Hamasyan.
