To join musical organizations across the country in celebrating the 150th anniversary of Maud Powell, internationally acclaimed concert violinist Rachel Barton Pine returns to Elgin in a special recital dedicated to the female violin virtuoso. Striking, charismatic, and boundary-defying, Rachel’s dazzling playing and infectious joy in music making are what have led her to the top echelon of musicians in the world, and her dedication to the legacy of Maud Powell makes her a true leader in her field.
